Terms of Use

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using GIF Maker (“the App”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the App.

2. License

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes on any Apple device you own or control, subject to these Terms and the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions.

3. Subscriptions

GIF Maker offers auto-renewable subscriptions (“GIF Maker Pro”) that unlock additional features. By subscribing, you agree to the following:

  • Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
  • Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
  • Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period at the same rate.
  • You can manage and cancel your subscriptions by going to your Account Settings on the App Store after purchase.
  • Any unused portion of a free trial period, if offered, will be forfeited when you purchase a subscription.

Prices are in U.S. dollars and may vary by region based on App Store pricing. Current subscription options are: Weekly ($2.99/week) and Yearly ($14.99/year).

4. Apple EULA

Your use of the App is also governed by Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (“Apple EULA”), available at apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula. In the event of a conflict between these Terms and the Apple EULA, the Apple EULA shall prevail.

5. Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, features, code, and content, is the intellectual property of GIF Maker and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the App, nor may you reverse-engineer or attempt to extract the source code.

You retain full ownership of any content (videos, GIFs) you create using the App. We do not claim any rights to your content.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. Your use of the App is at your sole risk.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, GIF Maker shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the App. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

8. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the App to create content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, or otherwise objectionable. You are solely responsible for the content you create and share using the App.

9. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Your continued use of the App after any changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

10. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles.
